A chemist’s sign in Hayfield, High Peak, Derbyshire. We recently visited High Peak, Derbyshire again and did lots of walking. I snapped this sign above an old chemist’s shop in Hayfield…although that said I couldn’t see any evidence of there actually being a chemist’s shop and now wonder whether it’s a remnant of the props used when the place was being filmed for the latest BBC drama series The Village.
