Episode 2 of my “Covered Up Podcast”, three more cover songs available through MixCloud’s licencing system. This time: the eternally poignant Ralph McTell song “Streets of London”, originally released on his 1969 album but not a hit for him until 1974, equally poignant and on a similar theme of London and loneliness, The Kinks’ Waterloo Sunset. Finally, something a little more uplifting my version of Seals & Crofts’ 1960s song “Summer Breeze”, which is perhaps more well known as the Isley Brothers cover of the 1970s!
