One of my older songs, originally entitled “Hell and High Water” is thrown a lifeline by Emma Zen. With a tone and timbre reminiscent of Kate Bush, Emma provides an evocative new vocal for the song against a backdrop of my tremulous guitar and strident bass and offsets my vocal percussives with her richness. The song, which I’ve sung live several times solo, now takes the listener on a new emotional journey across the waves.
