Thirty years ago, I met an incredible group of people, we stayed in touch for many years, but with a few exceptions connections were lost over the years. A bunch of us finally, got together for a 30-year reunion. Here is something of a musical souvenir of our time 30 years ago and of the reunion – a song entitled Almost Heaven.
If you hear something of the John Denver in the song, perhaps a little bit of REM, even some ABC (When Smoky Sings), The Corrs (So Young), The Cure (Just like Heaven), none of that was deliberate.
