If you were frustrated by the ticket system, have another go now that they’ve opened up sales of seats that were not taken up by corporate/sports orgs etc…we got our hockey tickets in the first round of sales (we went for cheap seats in prelims), but had a great view and a great time, makes you feel very patriotic..and Lord Sebastian Coe (Hi, Seb!) put in an appearance at our event.
New York City is claiming it did better out of the 2012 Games because it had all the regeneration without actually having to host the event. Well, forget the big apple NYC, I blow a big raspberry in your general direction on that one! Meanwhile, the Olympics is like the Millennium Dome, but in the summertime and with balls!
