Venison is deer, it’s never cheap

Red deer, Cervus elaphus, shot in Batsford Park in The Cotswolds. This species is one of the largest deer species and inhabits most of Europe, the Caucasus Mountains region, Asia Minor, parts of western Asia, and central Asia and elsewhere.

Deer meat, or venison, purportedly has many health benefits over other red meats, but remember it’s never cheap…because it’s always deer. Boom, boom!
