Virtual liposuction and a digital facelift – No more Photoshopping? Kim Kardashian's artificially thinned-down and virtually smoothed thighs are bad for your health, says the American Medical Association. Though it's been a common practice in fashion, publishing, and advertising for decades, airbrushing or Photoshopping pictures has apparently left millions of Americans, particularly females, with personal body image issues. AMA is calling time on the practice, but where will it end, where's the dividing line between titivating a photo to sell a magazine or product and the concept of virtual liposuction. Who are they to decide? Maybe the real problem is in educating youngsters about the reality of just how distorted fashion and pop culture are and why they really, really, really don't matter.
