First pun was from Mrs Sciencebase… “Ooh, you’re roots are showing”, which then led us to thinking about my alter ego being a hairdresser: “Roots by Dave”. But, I was thinking more of the music…and how the Amercuns call beetroots “beets”, so then we came to “Beets by Dr Dave”. Oh, how we laaarfed. It’s got a good beet though, rootsy y’all. Incidentally, these were grown in two tubs, the old paper recycling tubs we no longer need since they upgraded us to blue wheely bins with a paper caddy about 10 years ago.
My friend Eddie Murphy (not that one) pointed out that beets are now apples…
