At this time of year, you can watch the sun set over the sea on the East Coast of England…here are a few snaps from in and around Snettisham Beach, North Norfolk, which looks out over The Wash.
Obviously, the sun is still setting in the “correct” part of the sky, that’s north west give or take a few degrees either side of midsummer’s evening, it’s just that Snettisham faces that direction on The Wash, whereas most of the rest of the English east coast faces…pretty much east. It’s much easier to get to from here than Cornwall or Largs on the West Coast of Scotland, say…
