I am in the throes of refurbishing and reorganising the Imaging Storm website. Now, instead of a single, almost endlessly scrollable bird gallery I have separated out the passerines (perching birds, like finches, warblers, and thrushes), the raptors & owls, the seabirds (the gulls, gannets, and guillemots), and the waders & waterfowl (godwits, geese, goosanders). They all now have their own sub-galleries and the other birds, near-passerines, woodpeckers, doves, corvids, cranes etc, are in the “misc” category, which redirects to the original parent gallery.
I have also separated out the fast-growing Lepidoptera (moths and butterflies) gallery from the Wildlife gallery and given them their own space on the site. I have also now split the wildlife into mammals (foxes dolphins, stoats, and seals), other vertebrates (snakes, newts, frogs), and non-lepidopteral invertebrates (bees, flies, mayflies, worms etc).
I have also changed the way the galleries are displayed to make them more usable and mobile friendly.
